While the contestants were heating in the tournaments, the WSFF Extraordinary General Meeting 2004 was held on the October 22nd, as a part of The 2nd Asian Fishing Champion Cup.
Three agendas were submitted to the table of discussion. The first agenda was to make joint effort to upgrade the sport fishing to be one of the official events of “Asian Games”.
The second was to explore the way to establish “Tournament Rules Association” in each WSFF member country, and the third was about the potential host country for the 3rd Asian Fishing Champion Cup. The basic agreement was made to act toward achieving these goals.
It is strongly advised to set the commonly acceptable international standard of Tournament Rules, Judging Rules, and Penalty Rules.
